Our next market is Sunday 26th Jan!

Riverton Community Market is a great place to catch up with friends & family, find a boutique gift for someone special, and treat yourself to something nice! We hold this market on the last Sunday of every month fro 10am - 2pm (at Flecks Hall, opposite the supermarket) - watch this space for future developments..

Our intentions are to:

bring our community together on a regular basis,
support local enterprise (and encourage our children with their enterprises)
provide opportunities for local people to sell their crafts, products & produce,
facilitate our community in meeting local suppliers,
encourage sharing, giving and trading,
support local fundraisers,
encourage and support our local musicians
share knowledge,
HAVE FUN!

BAKING COMPETITION:

Exciting news!! We are going to have a XXXXX baking competition at the next Riverton Community Market on Sunday the 26th January. Made by the community, judged by the community. So pull out your best recipes and get your bake on!

All entries must be at the market by midday which is when the taste testing starts. The prize is $75 cash! The winner will be announced at 1.30pm. Please provide the following information to go with your entry:

your name and phone number (this can be on the back of the card/paper)
the name of your entry and
the ingredient list.

Lots of Hebe varieties for sale. If you have any unwanted plant pots, please feel free to bring them to this stall.

Hebe - Pink Icing Sugar. I have approx 10 of these in flower, all about 30cm high. Very pretty

Holt Cottage

Cutting boards, rolling pins, Boot jacks, then Rimu Bark edged cheese boards. All made from native wood.

Along with all our usual offerings A Little Bit of Everything have been busy hand crafting more goodness for you to indulge in. We have ‘Christmas’ as our theme this market, offering you hand pressed cookies to satisfy your taste buds, crafted Christmas tree decorations, and heavenly scented Christmas soy wax candles to enjoy. We have also designed unique bracelets for our younger generation to wear. Come and try out our boys and girls Lucky Dip too.

Granny has been busy crafting her Wee Jars of Goodness and Wellbeing for you to enjoy. Everything from Jams and Chutneys, to Kawakawa Ointment and Magnesium Muscle soaks. These would make great gifts to treat those that are hard to buy for. She also has baked a few of her Christmas Brandy infused fruit cakes for you to enjoy, as well as in Gluten free, and nut free options.
